Break the Haughty: Despite having a high opinion of himself, King Dice's Humiliation Conga may suggest the writers don't feel the same. He's also a fan of that show and, according to the Devil, he never misses one episode.

Ascended Fanboy: At the end of the episode, Henchman replaces King Dice as the new host of "Roll the Dice".Actor Allusion: King Dice, who here is a quiz show host, is voiced by Wayne Brady, currently the host of Let's Make a Deal.Little does he know, is that Dice's show is another scheme to collect souls for the Devil. Maybe if he’d been shown that kind of affection earlier from either Henchman or King Dice, he wouldn’t be so adamant to get Cuphead’s soul (probably not but he’d at least have fewer flaming outbursts).Introducing today's sucke- *ahem* I mean, contestant: Cuphead! After chasing after Elder Kettle's tire, Cuphead winds up on King Dice's radio show. The power of physical and verbal affection was enough to stop the Devil. (Also that’s just not real cat behaviour, cats would gladly steal your soul even if you gave them affection). “How dare you show me affection and make me feel bad for wanting your soul!” The best part was when he was ready to just take Elder Kettle’s soul, only for him to also receive verbal affection with an “I love you”…and he just gave up.

He’s just happy to stay there (until Cuphead and Mugman laugh at him). Hell, even when Elder Kettle’s asleep, he doesn’t bother getting up like you’d expect of someone who was pretending to be a cat. Just look at him! He’s in absolute bliss. He’s also purring, which sadly you can’t hear in GIFs. In the next scene he’s on Elder Kettle’s lapĪnd is the most relaxed I’ve seen him in the whole show. When he’s at the cottage, initially the unwanted man-handling sets him off (my autistic ass would too), but the moment it turns to something more gentle, he enjoys it! The Devil would be a lot more chill if he just got a hug every once in a while.

Meow Meow” references for a drawing I’m working on when my two braincells had a thought: So I was going though the episode “Roadkill” for “Mrs.
